Being a happily married man I believe that qualifies me to give you my perspective of what makes a good wife. First of all I know that men are different, but if you really want be a happy couple then read what I have to say. Below I have listed what I feel makes a good wife.
Communication skills-being able to communicate with me when I need help with my own problems. She must be a good listener and help me when help is needed. I should also do the same. The worst thing that can happen during a relationship is when one partner clams up and will not let the other person in. there are times for silence and times for speaking.

Being able to stay with the moment is important. What I mean by this is when a discussion is being heard, do not change the subject to something other or your own self-interest, stay with-in the conversation. This can help bring solidarity to a relationship.
We all have our own opinions, and either party will agree with each others views. Being able to tolerate differences in a relationship mean a lot to both partners. I might have a totally different view on a political candidate but if she can tolerate my opinion then that makes for a good wife.
