POMPEII: BURIED ALIVE

By on 06:56
The city of Pompeii needs no introduction. It has been one of the ancient towns of Roman, and used to be situated close to the modern Naples of the Italian region of Campania. It is said that this town was destroyed by a volcano. It used to be the residential city of a small number of populations and human communities. The town, as shown in the video, has been destructed, and the people were buried alive under 15 to 20 feet of ashes, pumice, and sand.
The researchers have been the believers that this town was founded between 5th and 6th centuries. It was, in those days, one of the most dominating Roman lands, and was conquered by many rulers during those days especially by the Osci.
Today, as you can see, Pompeii has been completely destroyed. There is nothing more than sand and deep dessert spread all over. This area was once the hub of many people who were living simple lives. They remained under the rules of several kings in those days who used to treat their people in both positive and negative ways, depending upon their habits.
The area was destroyed as a result of volcano. The people, in fact, the whole city buried alive. This is, to be honest, a very surprising thing. Today, Pompeii has become one of the major tourist attractions of Rome. Here various people come to observe what actually would have happened in those days and what led the people and human communities of this area get destroyed.
Pompeii is one of the oldest cities of Roman that has now been completely destroyed. Today, it is not more than a tourist attraction. But there was a time when Pompeii used to be a town full of people and was ruled by kings in those days.
It is presented along the Herculaneum, and was surrounded by forests, and sands. The area was under the constant threat of volcanic activities. Often volcanisms took place in this particular place. In 79 AD, a big volcanic eruption took place here and Pompeii got completely destroyed. This volcanic eruption was too serious and severe that it took the lives of all living things including the human beings of those days in no time.
A number of scientific discoveries and researches have proved that the town was founded between 5th and 6th centuries, and started establishing by the locals during 7th century. They could not remain here for long due to the fact that this used to remain under the extreme threat of natural disasters including heavy rains, storms, and of course volcanoes that were the ultimate reason of this land’s destruction.

The volcanic eruption destroyed the area completely, and the inhabitants were killed. They were buried under tons of ashes and sands, and the evidences now prove this fact to be true. Still a number of research projects are being carried out in this area to reveal some more facts about how the people used to live here and what they were doing for obtaining their foods. Evidences have proved that the land was not too much populated. It instead consisted of only a few thousand people, who live simple lives.
